#NailArtJul Day 1 - Flag

Hi all.  So after the disaster that was the MoYou Challenge, I have sort of decided to participate in the in "Totally Doable, I Have A Life" Challenge hosted by @Californails on Instagram.  There is no prize or anything, you just post Nail Art in line with the theme every couple of days and it can be quite fun to do nail art for the theme of the day that you wouldn't normally do.

You will find the daily themes in a picture after the jump, but for Day 1, it was "Flag" I chose to do Bunting aka lots of flags!

Polishes Used:
nails inc - Hyde Park Crescent (Pictured)
nails inc - St Martins Lane
nails inc - Wimbledon
nails inc - Chelsea Physic Garden
nails inc - Bloomsbury Street
Ciate - Sugar Plum
Barry M - White
Seche Vite

I started off by painting all of my nails with Hyde Park Crescent and letting that dry.  Then using Pop Art in the shade Bloomsbury Street, I applied that to my index, middle and pinkie fingers.

After adding a coat of Seche Vite to my layer of Bloomsbury Street, I applied a cute bow that I got from Born Pretty Store.  If you want to purchase the bows too, the you can do so here.  Enter code LJL91 at the checkout for a 10% discount AND free world wide shipping.  Just a heads up, you get 10 Bows for 99 US Cents.  With my 10% discount, thats 90 US Cents - around 60p to you if you're in the UK like me - Bargain!

Back to the Nail Art, I added 3 thin lines of White and then several small white triangles coming down from those lines.  Once they were dry, I added colour to them with Wimbledon, Chelsea Physic Garden, St Martins Lane and Sugar Plum.

Finally, to add extra definition I added silver caviar to my original 3 bunting lines.  If you want caviar like mine, you can use my coupon LJL91 at the Born Pretty Store checkout for a 10% discount, you can find caviar here.  Its all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Here is a run down of the upcoming themes for the challenge :-)  If you have instagram, and would like to participate, then please do! Anything goes and its so much fun! :-)
