Hi! I'm Nicole, I'm 25 years old and I am a self confessed Nail Art Addict from Scotland.

I started doing Nail Art as a hobby in late 2012, but after discovering the online Nail Community in early 2013 my hobby turned into a passionate obsession!  It wasn't long before my modest collection of polishes required their very own storage solution!

Gone are the days of wearing one colour on your nails, say hello to accent nails and mega bling!  There are so many techniques now on offer for everybody to try, whether you're a novice or an expert.  I am hoping that by starting this blog, I can show you how to achieve some cracking looks to keep your digits dazzling all year round.

I came up with the name "Spangley" whilst searching for the perfect Twitter username when I was at school.  Its an adjective which means something very shiny or glittery - perfect for nails, I'm sure you'll agree!

I'm hoping my blog can be a friendly reference source for those unsure of anything polish from cuticles to colour!  So grab those brushes and lets get painting!
