Nude And Black Nail Art

Happy Friday All! :-) Another day and another Nail Art accomplishment haha... I won a competition this week - hence my lack of posts.  The whole process was so nerve racking from start to finish.  I entered the manicure on the Monday morning, then I had to wait until the Monday night to find out if I was shortlisted, which I was, then from that point to the Tuesday evening, friends, family and any Tom, Dick or Harry that I could find had to vote for my nails to win, this voting then found out I had won on the Wednesday morning - so if you're reading this and you voted for me - THANK YOU! Onto today's manicure though, I was inspired by a picture I seen on Pinterest.

Polishes Used:
Barry M - Lychee (Pictured)
Sally Hansen Sugar Coat - Lick O' Rich
Models Own - Black Magic
Seche Vite
I started off with painting my middle and ring fingers with Lychee, my index with Lick O'Rich and my pinkie with Black Magic.  Then I added a coat of Seche Vite to my middle finger, to speed up the drying process so I could apply my tape & vinyls.

Whilst waiting on that fully drying though, I added a coat of Seche Vite to my ring and pinkie fingers as well to act as glue for my flower and studs.  I also added a dab of it to the top of my index finger for glue for those studs too.  I didn't add top coat to the index finger as I did not want to ruin the "textured effect."

Once my middle finger was completely dry, I added 2 of my single chevron stickers that I got from She Sells Seashells UK - if you want to read my full review, you can do so here.  I also added another cross to that with striping tape just below that.  Once I was happy that everything was "stuck down" I painted a coat of Black Magic on top.  I used my tweezers to pull the tape off and added a final coat of Seche Vite.
