"Rain Rain Go Away!" Nail Art

Hi everyone, I'm back today with this cute manicure that I think it anything but miserable like the rain! These were super easy to do and I love the effect they give.  Before I get into the description, I am now taking requests for tutorials for my tutorial page, so if there is a manicure of mine you would like to see the steps for, then please leave it in the comments below.  Anyway, moving onto the nail art for today...

Polishes Used:
Rimmel - Grey Matter (Pictured)
Revlon - Cupid
Revlon - Electric
Revlon - Sassy
nails inc - Chelsea Physic Garden
Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine - Brilliant
17 (Boots) - Matte Top Coat
Seche Vite

I started off by painting all of my nails with Grey Matter.  For my middle finger, I marked off 3 triangles at the top of the nail and filled the middle with Electric and the sides with Cupid.  I did the same for my ring finger and filled the middle with Sassy and the sides with Chelsea Physic Garden.  I outlined these triangles with Brilliant and added a J shape for the umbrella.

Once everything was dry, I painted my Matte Top Coat onto all of my nails.  Finally, I went back in with my large dotting tool and added thick drops of Seche Vite to act as the drops of rain!  Its as simple as that!

These are gorgeous! I love the raindrop idea, I've been wanting to try this using either black or blue for a while now. Definitely inspired to follow through with it now :) great work xx
